Anyhow...on with the show. Today I voted. If you have a ballot or are registered to vote, get your butt out there and vote. I mean it. If you don't vote, then you have no reason to whine and complain about anything going on. I'm talking the WASL, taxes, education, roads, laws, etc. I mean, hellleeeeer! I will say one thing. I prayed hard for this one. I'm sure of the people I voted for more today than at any time in my life. I pray that my vote make a difference.
This past weekend we went to Seattle to take pics of Connie and Wally. The photo shoot was fun. Yes I enjoyed it. Weird I know. But it's kinda cool most of the time. Seattle was cold and rainy most of the weekend. Yep, classic Seattle. We took pics of them at the DUB. Yep, I finally visited the University of Washington. There's a first for everything. We went to Suzallo library. What a beautiful building. I was completely flabbergasted by the architecture. The inside looked like it
was in the Harry Potter movie. Wow. I've added a picture here...to show you. I know some of you may have seen it before, but not everyone. Anyhow, it was neat visiting the campus. It made me feel very...umm...proud. In a weird way, proud of our region for having such a wonderful University. We all know how prestigious it is, but being there, I was able to feel part of it. I don't know,...it was just unfathomable. Then knowing that I have so many nephews and nieces that attend the school. Wow. What an honor. It's a bit daunting and intimidating. I know Wally, Priscilla, Gabriel, Matthew, Candace, Alyssa, and more are there. It's pretty neat. I wonder how many kids in College in the state I know? Hmm... On a side note, this guy set himself on fire at Red Sqare (center of UW) earlier last week. Pretty crazy story. Google it, true story. Wally says he saw it from a window.Afterwards Martha and I went to the Bellevue Square Mall and hit the Apple store. You see, my iPhone's screen was broken and I thought I'd give it a shot to see if they'd do something for me. Well, to make a long story short (cause I'm long winded), they gave me a brand spanking new original iPhone. Apple never ceases to amaze me. The manager there, Lauren is one awesome lady. She said we seemed like such nice people, and then replaced it on the spot. That alone made the trip worthwile. Anyhow, that's enough for now. So there's what I did on my weekend break. Relaxing eh? ;) (TTFN!) Ta ta for now! --Beniitec
