Weekend...

It was an event filled weekend, so it was difficult to post. My apologies. But never fear, for Ben is here. Just kidding. :) On Saturday we had our carpet cleaned. The carpets look awesome again in the house. Like it's brand new. I think I should sell NOW! Joking aside, it is nice to see some clean floors. Now if only I could find someone that can do the tile/grout cleaning cheap... BORING... Ok, on to better news. This weekend Art arrived and is staying at our house. He brought a friend as well from California. Robert is a Math teacher, worship leader. He seems like a pretty nice guy. I hope he enjoys his stay in Washington. They are thinking about going to Seattle today. Wish I could go with them... But I have too many responsiblities. As always it is a pleasure to have Art over. We never can get enough of him here. Maybe one day he'll move here. Art and I gave Robert quite the tour of the Columbia Basin yesterday. We went to Faith Sunday morning for church. Then we went to eat at Shang Hai with the family. Then we gave him the grand tour of the Tri-Cities by mini van. We went down George Washington Way in Richland all the way to the Hanford site. Then up 240 to West Richland, up Bombing Range Rd and then onto Keene to South Richland. Next we drove by the Mall and into Kennewick, up to Clearwater, then 10th, then Union, and all the way back down 395. Then we veered off down to the Clover Island to see the Cable Bridge. Then we headed over the bridge and down to Fiesta Foods. Next we ventured up to Desert Plateau and then finally back to the house. With the grand tour out of the way, we headed to Othello for an AWESOME worship service. Shalom rocked the house, the music as always was perfection, and the service was great. Aside from the length of course...wow, 3 hours. Then we went over to Gracie's house for some good home cooking. Then finally, the drive home. Wow, I'm exhausted.
