Go Huskies...and other updates

Yes, go Huskies. No, not UW Huskies, sorry, Othello Huskies! They overcame a wet and slippery Edgar Brown stadium and tall and beefy undefeated Tumwater football team 42-18 last Saturday to advance to the Semifinals at the Tacoma Dome. GO #52!!! Yup, that's my bro, Eric. He's a senior offensive lineman. He's one of the main reasons they are the team that they are. His stout 5'6" frame has kept 6'5" defensive lineman from getting to the Othello QB all season long. You're our hero bro. Keep it together for two more weeks and we will have a State Champ in our family. I am excited for ya. We've booked the hotel and are all set for Friday night! I am PUMPED! Should I paint my belly? NOT! You'll never see me do that... But I might paint my face...we'll see. That other team from Burlington-whatever, they can't even decide on a name for their high school...how sad. Anyways, I'm sure you guys will have a tall order ahead of you again. Just continue to press on and you will achieve your goal. Like I told you last week, push hard every play, finish every down, don't stop until the whistle blows and you have won the game. BE TOUGH. We'll be rooting for you man. If you're interested in reading an official account of the game, here's a link .

Oh hey..yeah, the other updates...well. Thanksgiving is here...and Christmas is almost here. Shoping craze alert... DO NOT GO TO THE STORES THIS FRIDAY. Ok, that was your warning. It is going to be ridiculous as always. It's like a mosh pit at the mall and at your local wal-mart. Sales? Please...only if you get up at 4am and are in line...then maybe you'll get a lucky sale or two on a 27" black and white tv or a cheapo toy of some sort. C'mon people. Relax...you still have 3 weeks of shopping to do. Oh, and the most darling thing occurred this week with Maddy. Martha was cleaning like crazy because we're having thanksgiving at the house and Maddy picked up the mop and began to mop. I had to capture the moment and I thought I'd share. She wanted to help in any way possible. Isn't she precious? We'll have to remind her when she's older of how much she wanted to help. Oh, and it wouldn't be normal if I didn't at least mention that I love my Mac and my iPhone and shudder to think of those that have to use windows machines as their main systems. I helped Zenaido Jr. last night with an issue he had. He's got Limewire, Kazaa, and antivirus/antispyware programs galore. It was a networking issue that ended up being a setting that was disabled on his antivirus to not allow web traffic. Yeah, that was fun to find. But, I mean I can tell people until I'm blue in the face, but they still won't listen. Get a MAC guys. It's like night and day. Saul...I'm so sorry you can't see the truth. That' you are so brainwashed that you don't know any better. Keep on going with the flow bro...and you'll end up taking you new windows systems into the shop to get fixed at least three times a year if not more, and if you don't, it becomes unusable. You can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink. Anyhow, I digress...for now. Here's the apple of daddy's eye:
