Fun...because God says so.

Next to doing the Lord's work there is only one purpose in our lives and that's to enjoy ourselves. I got an email from Luz my cousin with many pictures like this one. It looks like you guys had a fine time in McCall, Idaho. Wish we were there guys. That's what it's all about...making your own post cards of all the places you visit. Seeing God's awesome creation and enjoying yourselves. We all need that. The Bible says so:

Ecclesiastes 2:24 A man can do nothing better than to eat and drink and find satisfaction in his work. This too, I see, is from the hand of God, 25 for without him, who can eat or find enjoyment?

Ecclesiastes 5:19 Moreover, when God gives any man wealth and possessions, and enables him to enjoy them, to accept his lot and be happy in his work—this is a gift of God. 20 He seldom reflects on the days of his life, because God keeps him occupied with gladness of heart.

Ecclesiastes 9:9 Enjoy life with your wife, whom you love, all the days of this meaningless life that God has given you under the sun— all your meaningless days. For this is your lot in life and in your toilsome labor under the sun. 10 Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with all your might, for in the grave, where you are going, there is neither working nor planning nor knowledge nor wisdom.

May God continue to bless us all in FUN. Live with enjoyment, God's word is so. So, just do it, have fun. I'm out.
