Catching up

There's been lots of things going on in the last two weeks. I have to apologize for not updating the blog. But just when you thought I had stopped...I have lots to share! Well, Bryson's been going to Pre-School. Yes, exciting I know. He seems to really like learning. He's very brave and happy. He always wants to talk about what's going on with him. And he's asking a TON of questions. You forget how kids can be. I explained to the kids about not playing with matches and about my incident as a child. Bryson began to ask questions. Why did you do that dad? Then what? Then what? Then what? Then what? And then? Ok, I have to admit he tried to carry the conversation like that for over 20 mins until I put a stop to it. Hilarious. Bryson turned 4 and we had a birthday party for him. We went to my dad's house in Othello and invited my side of the family. Martha's side of the family seemed a bit busy. Maddy, well, she's growing against my will. I wish she would stay small. But that is impossible. Someday I will have to deal with the fact that she's growing up. Not yet though, thank God. Her birthday is coming up and Martha is planning a tea party. She's very excited about that. Brandon is going through a whining stage. He's such a whiner about everything. I can understand he's an emotional guy, but he whines about every little thing. I'm not quite sure what to do with that. Benjamin is growing up. He's such a responsible young man. He impresses me with his attitude. He's got a lot of his dad in him and a lot of his mom too. We are so proud of him. And my wife, well we're growing closer and closer. She's so busy, but we're closer than ever. We're trying to find more time to be with the kids. I've asked her to try and say no more often to some work. We'll see how that goes. I took my wife on a date to a college football game last Saturday. Thanks to a good friend of mine at work who gave me the tickets. We went to the UCLA vs. WSU football game in Pullman. It was a lot of fun. We took this picture there. I understand it's not exactly a woman's idea of a fun time. But we were alone and had plenty of time to talk. We were together. And best of all we enjoyed the time together. I love you precious.
