A new day...a new schedule

So fall is in the air.  You couldn't tell from looking outside though... LOL!  I mean it's a sunny 70 degree day today.  Just beautiful.  But I can tell because I'm having to take the kids to their different sports.  Bryson is playing grid kids football and is middle linebacker and Brandon is playing fall baseball.  This past week Bryson's team dominated on defense and offense.  Bryson had over 8 tackles and several for a loss behind the line.  Bryson's team, the comets won 40-6.  He walked away from the game sad.  Sad because he wants so badly to play on offense.  Not running back, or receiver, or even QB, even though he would LOVE to play any of those.  Bryson wants to play offensive line.  Last year as a 7 year old he played the right end on the offensive line and he also went out to catch some passes as a tight end.  He did an amazing job there.  He knows he was the blocker that created the holes for the runners to get through to score most of the touchdowns.  Poor guy...I tried to tell him he was doing a phenomenal job at linebacker, but he didn't want to hear it.  Brandon played second base in the wood bat fall baseball league and then pitched, and then played short stop for the entire second game of the double header.  He didn't make any errors and played well.  Offensively he had 2 hits and walked once.  I'm trying to get Maddy's soccer registration figured out with the soccer office, but that's proving to be complicated.  In any case, it's fall here... I'm a bit sad that it's here.  I see the kids less.  I miss them so much.
