Apologetically blogging...

Well, it's a free country. Well that's what they say anyhow. I've been so free I forgot about my blog. Well not really. I thought about blogging so many times since Jan 19th. But life got in the way. I apologize. I slipped and I won't let it happen again. Let's see what have I been up to?
Well, I hacked my Apple TV. What's that you say? Well my Apple TV is this cool little gadget the size of a book. I plugged it into my TV and I'm able to rent movies on it (over the internet), and now that I've hacked it I can watch other content on it as well...like the entire series of Buck Rogers, or the A-Team, or Knight Rider... Some of you know exactly what I mean. Others...not so much. Google it. :P I'm also able to watch episodes of House, ER, Fringe, or Grey's Anatomy or just about any tv show you can think of. If you're like me and don't have any time to watch those shows or DVR them (cause I don't have one of those yet)...you'd find this gadget pretty slick.
Hmm...We got our XBOX360 back. Yeah, that's taken a bit of my time. I used to be pretty good at playing video games. But these games are so complex these days...it takes more than just up/down/left/right.... You've got bad guys coming at you from all angles, top right, lower left, behind you...everywhere. Reacting is so tough. *SIGH* Someday I'll get better so I can compete against my kids and my brothers. Maybe not.
Videos...well I won't bore you with the details. But man are we backed up. What's the problem? Well the crazy things keep buring with jaggedy images. I don't get it. I'm so frustrated. I've tried all kinds of export options and burned like 50 different ways and every single one has turned into a coaster. That's a throw away DVD for those of you that don't understand the lingo. I'm so close to pulling all my hair out.
Baseball...oh yeah that. Well, (scratch)...(scratch, scratch), um pitchers and catchers report next week. Little League is gearing up, (scratch, scratch), A-Fraud is finally coming out of the closet. I always knew he was a weasel...but hey, now the world knows it. (scratch)..... If you're wondering why I'm scratching so much it's because I have baseball fever.

That's why iPhone games are so great. Simple, fun and you can pick them up and put them down in an instant. Anything beyond my Wii is just too much work to play a game. But that is completely my personal preference as I have 5 million other distractions in my life. Some people can focus on just 1 or 2 and they can reap the rewards of all that wonderful looking immersive game play.
