If this were that special weekend that the event that we are celebrating really occurred, then sometime tonight is when the stone was rolled away and my precious Jesus rose up to heaven. I can't imagine the sight. One day, we'll be privvy to that special event. Cause I know the Father TIVO'd it! C'mon...how could he not? Anyhow...happy Easter everyone. Remember that it's not about bunnies and eggs, it is truly about the rememberance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Today was spent running so many errands that I can't remember all of them. I played Coach this morning and met with my team (I'm coaching 7 & 8 year olds this year) then had them help with field cleanup. Hopefully the parents will come together and help me out. Then we took Benjamin to his practice. Today was his very first day hitting off of a pitching machine. He did just fine and I am impressed by his determination to get better. He's a chip off the old block. His coach is really good as well, he's got a pretty good pedigree (coached HS and College).
Wow...it was just yesterday that I took this picture. I remember thinking that it would take a lifetime before they were old enough to play ball. Now it's here. Good times, good times.
