March Madness

I bet you are thinking that I'm going to talk about the NCAA basketball tournament. Well, not really. Go Zags and Cougs. The truth is that this is a really maddening time of the year! The NCAA tournament gets going, Easter arrives, Mother's day is approaching, Martha's birthday, the boys are in Baseball, I'm coaching, we have visitors from out of town staying over, then to top it all off we have Spring Break coming up. Now that's what I call madness! Why does it come at you like a load of bricks? I can handle one or two of those things at the same time. But ALL at once? CALGON...TAKE ME AWAY! Then this week I came to another realization, we have a lot of projects still to get done, and a lot more this year. Madness I tell you! Opening day in a week and a half for the Mariners! The lawn...I need to start mowing the lawn. This is just too much for me to handle. I need to sit down...wait I'm sitting now. Maybe I need to go lie down... How do you handle something like this? I mean, to do lists? Organizers? Do you hire a personal assistant? HOW? And yes, I've just had my caffeine in case you were wondering.

I know EXACTLY how you feel. To be honest, though, as I was reading your post, I couldn't help to think "man, he has it made compared to ME--and he complains, LOL". I have ALL your to-do's PLUS taking care of 11 kids that aren't even mine!! POOR POOR ME...BUT--"there's a light at the end of the tunnel". There is something in the "works" ....I might be quitting daycare SOON!! BTW, netnewswire is the BOMB..I am really enjoying it.

Well just so you know, I don't have it made like you think. I've got deadlines, 5 managers to please, a presentation to write, several projects to report on, and much more...
