Today we had a birthday tea party for Madeline. Martha is the ultimate planner. She's had this idea for a tea party for Maddy for years. She was finally able to put it on for her. She is probably a bit young to really appreciate this. But at the same time I can tell that she will never ever forget this day. She has not taken a nap all day, she isn't tired, she is playing with all her gifts. She got lots of gifts and she loves them all. Mommy took lots of pictures as that's what she loves to do. My father in law put it best when he stated, this party is so...girly. :D It really was. We all ate tea sandwiches, tea cakes, and other hourderves and had tea (bubble gum, orange spice, and more!). I'm so happy that I was able to be there for my miracle baby's first birthday party. Some people might think, what in the world were you doing at a girly party? The truth is, I wouldn't have missed it for the world. I almost didn't have a baby girl, and today I was able to enjoy her girlyness more than ever at my very first tea party. We have lots of pics for you to see!. To see all the pictures, please click here! She had the cutest little tea kettle cake and the girls modeled victorian hats and it was a very memorable day for all. Maddy is crying right now because she's seeing the pictures and wants to go back again.
Oh yeah and happy birthday to Dora today!
