It would be totally ridiculous for me to not post about today's huge MLB story, the Mitchell Report. First of all, I posted an image of my boyhood heroes. The fact that they were not named in the report makes them even larger heroes in my book. I believe that those mentioned as knowingly taking these drugs can be called cheaters especially after it was widely known that it was illegal to take those things. What gets me amped is that the reality of this leads us to the fact that these guys were taking any supplements that would give them an advantage which in turn led to this. I think Rafael Palmeiro should be vindicated by this report while others such as Miguel Tejada should be punished for lying. The 2000 Yankees...wow is all I can say. Those guys may not deserve to have that championship. But at the same time it's not just Steroids doing the playing, it's people. So you can't totally write them off. I hope this report helps the sport instead of injuring it more... that's my two cents. I'm out.
