Candy Crush takes over the world...

So Candy Crush is the most addictive game I've seen in a while.  If you are interested, there's a free ad intensive version in the App store for your iPhone.  All I can say is you'll want to turn off the volume after a while as the music gets to you.  However, the game is absolutely addicting.  Once you solve the level you move on to the second, third...etc.  I'm on 107.  Yes, 107.  I don't know how many there are but it is crazy.  It's a fun time waster.  Like we have so much time available to us these days.
Work has been really busy.  Not a day goes by that I don't think about my former co-worker Troy or hear his loud voice in my head.  Miss that jughead.  I pray his boys are doing well.  Which brings me to my kids...
They are growing up so fast.  Ben is now a bit taller than me.  He struggled with his grades all his freshman year and will be a sophmore this fall at Chiawana.  Time is just flying by.  He didn't do any band this year and pretty much focused on school and Freshman baseball.  His baseball season wasn't great but he did pitch some and did ok.  Ben turned 15 last month.  And please don't remind me that he's going to want his license soon.
Brandon also struggled a bit with his grades in 6th grade but was able to get them respectable by the end of the year.  He will be going to the 7th grade this fall.  There is no school sports but Brandon managed to play Pasco Little League as a 12U and it was just announced that he made the 12U All-Star team this year.  He's very happy about that.
Bryson has had a great year.  In football he played middle linebacker and was amazing.  It was such a fun football season.  They went undefeated and lost in the superbowl.  Bryson also played on the Fuzion AAU tournament basketball team.  He also did a great job in the 3rd grade.  He did so well he got nominated for the spectrum program.  But as it turned out he didn't get one of the spots available so he will stay at his current school.  Then he started baseball.  Both little league and tournament baseball with the Storm 9U team.  I coach the Storm and boy has it been a fun year.  We are about halfway through the tournament season and we've placed in every tournament we have played in.  3rd place (The Gathering), 3rd place (Golden Glove), 1st place (Yakima Mayday Mayhem), 1st place (Spokane Pony Cinco de Mayo), 1st place (Pasco Memorial Day Tournament), 2nd place (Moses Lake June Jamboree).  Bryson has done a phenomenal job at short stop.  His batting has struggled a bit but we are having so much fun.  He has also grown out his hair really long... it's so cute.
Maddy has had a fun year as well.  She played soccer in the fall and spring.  She is also playing softball this spring.  She just finished last week.  She also had an awesome report card from school and her teacher only had great things to say about her.  She continues to beg for me to let her do gymnastics and cheerleading.
God has blessed me with a wonderful quartet of kids.  They are a joy.  Right now, outside of work they consume my life.  And that's ok.  I love them and they are only mine for a little while.
Carla my god-daughter graduated from High School last week.  I'm so very proud of her.  She's like a daughter to me.

Oh, and Maddy played basketball and loved it! :) She was the second highest scorer on her team.
