Death sucks.
The title of this pretty much sums it up. Death is the end of life. You have, plans, hopes, dreams, and then all of a sudden it all ends. It leaves people shaken, it steals the normalcy, it leaves a big, empty, gaping hole where there was once something. If you've ever heard the term fun sucker... well death is a life sucker. For those of us that live on, it changes us deeply. For one, we don't forget the life that was. Two, we change our lives because of it. Some change their lives for good, others turn loose their once rigid lifestyle. Anyhow... my rant is over. I can go on and on but it's just depressing. Life is meant to be lived to it's fullest and when someone is not able to finish their life properly and dies early it just sucks. Weird that my last post was about Dave Niehaus. Well, anyhow my service manager at work and dear friend Troy Juntunen passed away last week suddenly. In the middle of the work day during his jog. It's been a sad week for sure. I'll miss his loud personality for sure. He was loud in every sense of the word. The entire hallway knew when Troy was nearby. His voice was not quiet or calm. He was an intense guy. An Oregon State Beaver alumni and passionate fan he most certainly was. So passionate in fact that he ALWAYS wore some orange. And orange is not a subtle color in any way shape or form. It is always LOUD. LOL. He was not always easy to work with, but he had a great heart and a passion for life and especially his two boys Eli (16) and Drew (13). I heard about them often. I know they will never forget their dad. Troy was a great friend and mentor to me. The office hallway is a lot quieter without him around. I'm going to miss him.
