Coug'n it...

Well, how about them WSU Cougars. Ahem...sorry Huskie fans. ;) For those of you that aren't sports fans the WSU Cougar football team beat the UW Huskies in this year's Apple Cup. Ok...not going to rub it in...but I saw this photoshopped Huskie helmet and it was posted on a Husky blog on the tri-city herald. The Huskie blogger was even amused. So I thought I'd share it. Anyhow, I've had an eventful week...
Let me see... we had a family surprise birthday party for Melissa. Joel put that together... That was a nice dinner at Bella Italia restaurant. Everyone said something nice about Melissa. I'm so shy that I didn't speak up. But she knows what I think about her. She's the sweetest sister in law a guy could ever have. She's a great momma and a great wife to Joel. She's a super aunt to my kids and an awesome Madrina for Brandon.
We had Thanksgiving at my house last week... That's one of the reasons I been a bit busy...and haven't blogged. It was awesome as always. Martha cooked the turkey! Woohoo...it was delish. The whole CantĂș family came over. Bryson and Madeline started singing with my father in law. They were singing the songs I taught them. It was so neat to see that they were singing and they weren't shy at all.
We shopped all day on Black Friday. Although I have to interject here... (big word alert)...I mostly window shopped. I couldn't find any deals. Everything was the same price as before! So my brothers and I ended up gaming (Halo 3) that evening. It was so much fun. I think that's one of the funest things to do with my brothers.
Tuesday night I went to Pullman with Josh and we took our two oldest boys. We watched the Cougar basketball team beat Idaho State to a pulp. It was embarrassing for those guys. That was a blast. I hadn't been in that building since I saw the cougs play the Georgetown Hoyas and Patrick Ewing. Yeah, that was a long time ago. Anyhow we had a great time and so did the boys. It was their first college basketball game ever.
Oh and I almost forgot. I went with my neighbor Tim to work this morning and he forgot to bring me home! LOL. I was stuck at work for a bit...He felt really bad. But no big deal, my friend and office mate James brought me home. He lives on the opposite side of tri-cities, but he was nice enough to offer me a ride home even though it was out of his way. So there's one possible bad thing that can happen to you if you car pool. ;) It's the only time it's ever happened. Anyhow things have been great thanks be to God. Until next time...
