Christmas story...

The Christmas service at Faith this year was pretty neat. My favorite part was the rendition of "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". I especially liked it because Brandon is missing one of his front teeth, and I kept elbowing him during the song. It was so much fun. He smiled...and enjoyed it. But I know what you all want to hear. I'll get right to the point. Why beat around the bush? Here's what I got for Christmas. I got a nice watch/mini-leatherman combo from my brother Josh and a Seahawks barbecue set from Arnold and Gracie. I got a interesting looking sweater vest with diamonds on it from my MIL. She's so sweet. Joel, Saul and I will look like triplets if we wear them on the same day. Other than that, it looks pretty sweet. Also I bought myself a guitar. A Lyon by Washburn. I don't know a lot about guitars, but I plan on learning. I'm pretty excited about this year's Christmas and how it went. It's just kind of sad that it came and went so fast. We also went sledding at Neddy and Saul's house. Man, the boys and I sure had some fun. Even Maddy went down the slope with me once.
Things to think about for next Christmas...
1. Don't spend so much money... ;)
2. Buy a musical deali-bopper for the lights...that's a hit!
3. Learn to play some tunes on my guitar.
4. Pray for more snow...for sledding again.
5. Buy my wife the best gift ever. (Of COURSE I'm not going to tell you honey...)

So who in my family made out like a bandit? Bryson. OF COURSE! Yeah, he's been begging us for an DS Lite for over a year. And we didn't think he was old enough. Well about two months ago, the boys began letting him play...and he really has picked it up pretty quickly. So Martha and I thought...why not? So we got him a DS Lite. You should have heard the SQEAL!!! "I GOT A DEEE ESSSSS!! WOOOOHOOO! Five minutes later he jumps on me and gives me a hug..."Dad, I love my DS." An hour later... he repeats it..with more emphasis. He did that for the first 24 hours... NO JOKE! Each time with different inflection. I think we hit the nail on the head with this one. It feels pretty sweet. I know he'll never forget it.

Note: Before I forget... Pigs have flown, and hell has frozen over. My father in law now owns an iPhone. A 3G no less. That's both my dad, and my father in law. I'm awestruck.
