Happy New Year!!! No really...

Well for those of us in the business world, yesterday was new year's eve and today it's a brand new fiscal year. Out with the old and in with the new. Paperwork-wise anyhow... Well, I'm happy to announce I survived the year at work and driving through this horrible traffic in the morning and evening. Hey, for those of you elsewhere...this is traffic baby. It's the big city for these parts. Instead of a 15 minute commute, sometimes I'm not able to make it for over 30 minutes. Pretty frustrating. Anyhow... I haven't really talked in a while. Just given some updates. I've had lots going on in case you haven't noticed and sometimes the diary...er..the blog takes second place. But hey, here I am hoping I still have a readership out there. Hopefully I don't turn you off with the things I say, and if I do, I want to hear about it. Ok, that sounds like a politician, but I'm serious. Speaking of politicians, we got McCain versus Obama. Lots to talk about there, but don't really want to use this as a soap box for that. What I will say is make sure you get out there and vote. It will make a difference. Last year the governor of WA state won by one vote. Then there were 3 recounts until that person lost...but that's an entirely different story. The point here is VOTE. There, I'm off my soap box for a bit. But wait there's more... there are some crazy things going on with Wall Street and the government wants to fix it because our economy is supposedly dying. Here's the thing...I will give my opinion on that. Not that it matters much to any of you. Pay your bills, get out of debt, and everything will get back to normal for you and eventually the country. I'm very opposed to what the Gov't is trying to do. They are trying to do what every american does...borrow money to pay debt. It doesn't work! One guy I like listening to a lot is Mr. Dave Ramsey. If you're curious as to what he has to say, here's his opinion. I think it has lots of merit. I really think we should contact our congressman and pray for them as well. It can't be easy to be a lawmaker right now. More another time...
