Martha, you are the ultimate sweetness. I love you with all my heart. My wonderful wife brought me a starbucks this afternoon at about 2:20. Nonfat for those of you reading along. :) Thank you! She was in town as she brought my mac into the shop... yes, my tower of power and impermeability and stability is in the Mac shop getting looked at. This particular system I believe has been a lemon. From day one it has had weird problems. But I've been able to use it to get the job done so far. Funny thing... when you're upset you can do some pretty crazy things. I sent an email to Steve Jobs (CEO of Apple). Funnier thing is I got a call from executive relations and they assigned their lead tech to help me with my system. He worked with me daily for a month until we resolved that this system had no software or easy hardware fix as we couldn't isolate the problems. Did I mention it was out of warranty and no Applecare? Unbelievable, I know. But it's true! And now they (Apple) are going to pay for any hardware/labor fixes. Pretty out of this world... yes I know. See if you can get your PC manufacturer or your OS software company do that. I really liked Apple before, but with this particular situation, I'm blown away. Kudos to Apple, and SJ. And kudos to my wife who gives me a tooth ache. Love you sweetness.
